Breaking Cycles and Achieving Dreams

Phew! This week has been a whirlwind, but I’m feeling good.

The reason this week has been so crazy is that next week the Catalyst Course starts. If you haven’t already read about the course, you can find more info here, here and here. In essence, it’s a course that helps people get refocused on what matters to them in their lives by helping them: prioritize and make plans for some changes, increase their self-care, establish routines and habits- with tools, exercises and support to ensure that people are as successful as possible in creating the changes they would like to see in their lives.

Why do I do this work? I cannot answer for Jena, but I can for myself. I do this work because we all have these internal barriers that interfere with the dreams we have in our lives and these barriers can last generations with negative self-talk, fear, overwhelm and more.

I know that in my family alone there are generations of women who were never able to achieve their dreams because of their own internal stuff. These women put themselves last on their list, got in their own way when awesome things happened to them and ultimately gave up on their dreams.

I’m breaking the cycle in my family. I’m breaking it for myself and for my son. He is growing up seeing a strong, capable mother who pursues her dreams and follows her passion. I will do everything to empower him to do the same.

We live in such a fast-paced society with tons of choices, which can feel liberating at times, but it can feel totally overwhelming at other times too. This can distract us from ourselves and our dreams.

Where you’re at internally really affects how you perceive your life externally. The Catalyst Course offers a little reboot in your life.

How about you? Are there dreams and goals that you’re putting off because it’s not the right time? Chances are there will never be a right time. Join us, starting next week along with a group of other women to set some things in motion in your life. Making changes is hard and can be a lonely struggle, but not in this course. Everyone in the course is working toward change and the support we offer really helps keep students on track.

Even the strongest, most capable, enlightened people can sometimes need a little time to get focused on themselves. I’ll go as far as to say that everyone needs to do a refocus on themselves from time to time. Some people see making time for themselves as selfish, or a sign of weakness, but this isn’t the case. If you’re sensitive to your needs then making changes in your life should be a part of your life.

What about you? When’s the last time you took a chance and tried something new? When’s the last time you did so with a group of supportive women? If you’re like most of us, never. This course offers a unique experience that allows everyone to tap into the building blocks to uncover their inner awesome. Won’t you join us?
